Guelph Outdoor School made the transition from sole proprietorship to Non-Profit in 2018. GOS is now the main project of The Village Hearth Initiative.

The Village Hearth Initiative is dedicated to the promotion of nature connection through mentorship and culturally regenerative practices.

We would like to begin the first of many conversations to champion making the city of Guelph the Most Nature Rich City. As such, we are inviting all of our supporters as well as key stakeholders in our community to begin discussing what elements we would like to see in a list of criteria the city would need to achieve in order to be granted this tittle.
