Spend part of the Longest Day with GOS!

Who: The Guelph Outdoor School community

What: Summer Solstice Community Picnic

Where: The Barber Scout Camp - 733 Stone Rd. E (Parking Located at University of Guelph P13 lot)

Why: To celebrate our community

When: Thursday, June 20, 5-9pm

How: We're anticipating lots of friends, and we have limited parking on-site. Please take our Magic (Shuttle) Bus that will run every 15 minutes for the first 2 hours (starting at 4:45pm) and every 30 mins for the last 2.5 hours. Park at the University of Guelph P13 lot (free parking after 5pm).

Things to bring: (Please help us make this a low waste event)

  • water bottle

  • food & drinks (enough for your family’s needs) - Laza will have some snacks and drinks for purchase.

  • eating dishes & utensils (plastic or metal is best! - let’s try to minimize garbage!)

  • picnic blanket and/or folding chairs

  • hats, sunscreen, sunglasses

  • dress for the weather and to have fun

  • rain gear in case it rains!

  • blankets and cozy gear if you plan to stay after the sun sets

Things to know:

  • We will have access to the indoor bathrooms/ taps for water refills

  • Although we love our furry friends, please leave pets at home for this event

  • Please dress for the weather - this event is entirely outdoors. 

  • Rain or Shine!
