Registration for this workshop opens on Tuesday, October 8th at 10 am.
Eco-Printing is a printmaking technique that uses leaves, flowers and other plant materials to create patterns on paper and fabric. Join us for an afternoon exploring an artistic practice that connects art, plants, people and place, providing an intimate, hands-on experience to deepen your relationship with local plants in creative community.
In this workshop, you will learn the basics of eco-printing on paper and how to translate that process to fabric, using both plant and protein-based fibers. We will sip tea together, break bread, chat and connect while learning about the ecology of plants used in our projects.
Bring a mug for tea, water, lunch, weather appropriate clothing, a warm cozy matt or blanket to sit on, an intention and your creativity!
