Bushcraft for Women and Non-Binary Folks | Adult Workshop

  • The Guelph Outdoor School 733 Stone Road East Guelph, ON, N1E 3J3 Canada (map)

Registration for this workshop opens on Wednesday, March 26th at 9 am.

Join us for an empowering and hands-on experience on the land! This Bushcraft skills workshop offers a supportive, celebratory space to connect with nature and learn essential land-based skills. Whether you're a complete beginner or have some experience, this workshop will guide you through the basics of bushcraft, from shelter building and fire-starting to foraging and knot-tying.

You’ll learn how to identify edible and utilitarian plants; handle tools like axes, knives and fire starting tools; and make fire.

This workshop is not just about “surviving in the wild”— it's about reclaiming space in nature, building community, and gaining new perspectives on the land. All equipment will be provided, and no prior experience is necessary. Come ready to get your hands dirty, and enjoy a day of adventure, learning, and celebration.
