Come join David Wilson and Matt Hamilton as they teach you basic and advanced carving techniques to get you well on your way to creating your own one-of-a-kind cooking utensil.
In this session you can expect to learn:
Different wood types and how they react to drying, carving and finishing
How to harvest wood in a sustainable and ethical way
Different knife grips and carving techniques
What tools to use for what jobs
How to work in a way that will prevent fatigue and damage to your body
